TFS Branded Clubs for Students

Club activities are an integral component of TFS’ program curriculum.  TFS leads clubs such as Sports, Do It Yourself, Fitness, and Theatre at all four sites.  These are specifically designed to boost students’ self-confidence, foster creativity, promote physical activity, and teach effective team building.  Offering students choices encourages them to take responsibility for their own learning and allows program staff to better meet students’ need.  Students also have opportunities to develop curriculum activities, providing a sense of ownership of the program, helping to hone leadership skills, and encouraging them to pursue activities in their interest areas.
