Techies for TFS
We encourage IT professionals to support our Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics (STEAM) programming. With your support, TFS can continue to provide quality STEAM education, licenses for our online learning platform, and other in-class technology initiatives.
Hometown Heroes for TFS
Our founder, the late Mr. Tom Lewis, worked as a Metropolitan Police Officer and served in their “Officer Friendly” program. It was during this time that he met many students who inspired him to begin The Fishing School. We encourage first responders to join this Giving Circle.
Standing in the Gap
A faith-based Giving Circle for donors interested in helping youth grow socially and emotionally to succeed beyond the classroom. Our founder, the late Mr. Tom Lewis, was an ordained Baptist minister and founded two gospel groups. His relationship with God led to his decision to start The Fishing School.
Young Professionals
If you’re a young professional looking to get involved in your community, we welcome you to become a part of The Fishing School family. Pay it forward by joining this Giving Circle and making The Fishing School part of how you give back.
Lawyers for Learners
For those of you in the legal field, you understand the importance of representing and advocating for underserved communities in the District. Support The Fishing School so we can continue our important work.
Club 121
Nearly 100% of our students are Black/African-American, and we teach them that college is an achievable goal. Join other HBCU alumni to support our programs that encourage our students to set college attendance as a personal goal.
