The Dynamics of Fitness and Healthy Living
TFS’ Fitness Club is comprised of six units, each lasting six weeks. The units are: Cooperative Games, TFS Boot Camp and Healthy Living, Yoga/Meditation, and Aerobic Dance.
In TFS’ Fitness Club, students learn about the dynamics of fitness and healthy living. This club develops students’ strength, flexibility, rhythm, and balance. Students also become familiar with calisthenic exercises that they can practice on their own outside of TFS. Students are expected to learn healthy habits for diet and exercise, mindfulness, and stress-management through progressive conditioning, yoga/meditation, and aerobic dance. Students also engage in multiple fitness styles and practices, including dance aerobics, children’s yoga, and strength training.
