Extreme Weather
STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math) is a growing movement toward the future in education. It encompasses creativity, critical thinking, and technology to propel youth into promising careers, fulfilling the nation’s need for innovative and skilled leaders.
TFS has carefully designed and expanded its programmatic STEAM offerings to address the academic, social, and developmental needs of children in order to support their success through high school and beyond. Serving over 400 youth in four schools across Washington, DC, our focus on STEAM ensures that underrepresented minorities and those in underserved communities are exposed to science, technology, engineering, art, and math at an early age.
