The Tom Lewis Student of the Year Award, Sponsored by Wyndham Vacation Ownership, is presented each year to a participant of The Fishing School’s Afterschool or Middle School Programs. This award recognizes the one student among the entirety of his or her peers, enrolled at all sites, for three key character traits: citizenship, perseverance, and academic pursuit.
This year, the winner of the award was Makhi Smith, a 5th grade TFS student at Plummer Elementary School.
