You or your organization can help The Fishing School change the lives of students in Washington, DC. There are a number of ways you can support, including making a one-time or recurring donation, sponsoring one of our fundraising events, and providing in-kind donations. You can also donate to TFS through your workplace giving program (United Way #8553).
Your gift will deliver:
- STEAM-focused afterschool and summer programs
- Hands-on engineering, coding, literacy, and fabric activities
- Essential reading, math, technology, and critical thinking skill development
- Enrichment events and family engagement opportunities
Impact Levels:
- $1,000 – Sponsor a student’s STEAM journey
- $2,500 – Provide STEM materials for an entire class
- $5,000 – Fund an instructor for a semester
- $10,000 – Support the STEAM family event
- $15,000 – Fund STEM and arts supplies for an entire year for all sites
- $20,000 – Fund a full semester for a cohort of students
- $35,000 – Fully fund a full year of STEAM programming for 30 youth (naming opportunity available)
Volunteer
Volunteers play a valuable role in supporting both the development and ongoing operations of our program. We are always looking for talented volunteers to join our Board of Directors and to help with special corporate projects, including IT planning, fundraising, outreach, and more.
